Becoming a Surrogate:Application to Match
STEP 1
Confirm you qualify
Begin with a brief questionnaire to determine eligibility. If you meet the initial criteria, you’ll be invited to complete your full application.
STEP 2
Consultation and Screening
If approved, you’ll be invited to schedule a consultation with our admissions team. This step includes a review of your medical history, surrogacy preferences, and required documentation, along with a psychological screening with a mental health professional.
STEP 3
Personalized Matching
Once you pass this stage, we begin identifying the right intended parent match. We thoughtfully select potential matches aligned with your preferences.
STEP 4
Match with Intended Parents
You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve a potential match. Once both sides are aligned, we coordinate an introduction to begin your journey together.
Being a Surrogate:From Match Onwards
Every surrogate and surrogacy journey is unique, so the timing and process may vary. The below overview provides an in-depth explanation of what to expect.
1. Medical Screening & Cycle Preparation
You will complete medical screening with the IVF team overseeing the journey. This may involve travel, which is fully arranged and covered. Once cleared, a personalized treatment plan and timeline are created.
2. Legal & Coordination
A legal agreement is established between you and the intended parents, outlining all terms of the journey. Once finalized after a few weeks on average, your cycle calendar is confirmed and preparations begin.
3. Embryo Transfer
You will follow a structured medication protocol to prepare for transfer. Monitoring is coordinated locally, with travel arranged for the procedure. Pregnancy testing occurs approximately 10–12 days after transfer.
4. Pregnancy & Ongoing Support
Once pregnancy is confirmed, you will transition to your local OB for routine care. Our team remains closely involved throughout, providing continuous coordination, guidance, and support.
5. Delivery & Recovery
As delivery approaches, we assist with planning and coordination to ensure a smooth experience for you and the intended parents. After delivery, we continue to support you through recovery.
